The Boarding House is an excellent restaurant, very popular both with the locals and visitors, and is very difficult to get into on short notice. It has imaginative cuisine and good service. When you can't get a reservation in their dining room, you sometimes can eat at a table in their bar area or outside. They begin taking reservations for outdoor dining at 3pm each day, depending on the weather.

The Boarding house also manages The Pearl next door. It has received very good word of mouth, but we still haven't tried it. Their chef was formerly the sous-chef at Nobu in New York.
